Make some new memories with Lifecycle Cycling Club and the Wombles over a legendary weekend of riding and good cheer.
Approx 250km and 4,000m elevation.
On Saturday, the ride meets at Roma Street Parklands at 6am for a 6.30am departure. The ride goes up to Maleny staying overnight overlooking the beautiful vista of the Glass House Mountains at Tranquil Park Resort.
After a hot breakfast on Sunday morning the ride home takes you along some meandering country roads before returning to Roma Street Parklands.
A limited number of rooms have been reserved so make sure you get in early.

Separate registrations are required for each person, whether riding or not.

Accommodation
Insurance
It’s important that you acknowledge that you ride at your own risk. You should be aware of what is covered by the insurance included in your AusCycling or Bicycle Queensland membership. You may wish to take out additional insurance. You are advised to seek your own independent advice.
Personal costs not included:
Snacks, gels, power bars.
Lunch on Saturday at Woodford.
Refreshments Saturday evening.
Barista coffee Sunday morning.
Morning tea at Wamurran.
Don’t want to ride
No problem. If you would like to book accommodation, you will need to register and choose the “Non-rider” option from the Status panel.
Don’t need accommodation
Simple. Please register and choose “no accommodation” from the drop down. To cover the incidental costs of providing support vehicles, volunteers and morning tea, you’ll be required to pay just $40 for the riding components only – No accommodation and no Sunday morning breakfast.
What to pack
Pack a small backpack that you can carry to the assembly point and return.
You will need toiletries, a change of riding kit, and clothes and shoes for Saturday evening. It may be cool so a light-weight (polly fleece or similar) jumper.
A charger for your phone, lights and cycle computer.
Don’t forget to carry at least two spare tubes with you on the bike.
Dinner Saturday
The accommodation package includes dinner onsite in the restaurant area on Saturday evening. While you are free to explore other dining options in Maleny and elsewhere, the package cost is the same regardless – no discount if you skip dinner. Your bar tab is your own affair.
How to pay
After you have registered you will receive an invoice by email from Lifecycle Cycling Club. Details on payment options will be outlined with the invoice. This must be paid in full by Friday 11 July.
Cancellation policy
The ride will go ahead in light rain. If the forecast is dreadful a week out the organisers will attempt to cancel accommodation. Whatever costs are returned will be distributed to particpants equitably. There is a chance that you will not receive a full refund.
Late registration
The organisers will try to source accommodation for you but there are no guarantees. Space may become available due to cancellations from the group or from other reservations at Tranquil Park.
A stand-by list might be considered at the discretion of the organisers. If you want to be added to the list, please register and pay. Payments are required (must be received) by Friday 11 July.
If the organisers are unable to secure your spot, a full refund will be made.
